Over the past several months in New York City, incidents of police misconduct, harassment, brutality and murder are on the rise - even as "crime" is on the decline... The NYPD are attacking young men and women of color, murdering their own Black officers, and violently assaulting our brothers and sisters from queer communities. As a result, we have seen a resurgence in efforts to "police the police" and keep our streets safe and livable. And what they've found, is that the majority of people, from all generations, simply do not know their rights.
